  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin pan by lining it with paper liners.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with ground cinnamon and melted butter; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter into muffin cups, sprinkle with cinnamon mixture, then add more batter on top and finish with remaining cinnamon mixture.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
